WARRANTY INFORMATION (Please read carefully)
Voltaride
e-bikes are covered under our 3 year (frame) and 1 year (components) Limited
Warranty for the original owner and only against manufacturing defects.
Free
accessories ARE NOT included under this warranty.
The warranty is registered automatically with
the initial purchase. The warranty applies only to the ORIGINAL OWNER and
counting since the day the bike has been delivered.
The Warranty Period begins upon the receipt of
your ebike and shall end immediately upon the earlier of the end of the
Warranty Period or any sale or transfer of the ebike to another person.
Under no circumstances shall the Limited
Warranty apply to any subsequent owner or other transferee of the ebike.
COVERAGE
Voltaride will replace any component that is
deemed to be defective or becomes defective. The warranty covers the listed
products and follows the terms below:
- The
Limited Warranty is expressly limited to the replacement of a defective
lithium ion battery, frame, forks, stem, handlebar, seat post, saddle,
brakes, lights, bottom bracket, crank set, pedals, rims, wheel hub,
freewheel, cassette, derailleur, shifter, motor, throttle, controller,
wiring harness, LCD display, kickstand, reflectors and hardware (each a “Covered
Component”).
This Limited Warranty Does Not Cover
- Normal
wear and tear of any Covered Component.
- Consumables
or normal wear and tear parts (including without limitation tires, tubes,
brake pads, cables and housing, grips, chain and spokes).
- Any
damage or defects to Covered Components resulting from failure to follow
instructions in the ebike owner’s manual, acts of God, accident, misuse,
neglect, abuse, commercial use, alterations, modification, improper
assembly, installation of parts or accessories not originally intended or
compatible with the ebike as sold, operator error, water damage, extreme
riding, stunt riding, or improper follow-up maintenance.
- Any
damage or defects to Covered Components resulting from improper storage, abnormal
exposure to liquid, chemicals, moisture, abrasives, sand or dirt, neglect,
or abnormal physical, electrical or electromechanical stress.
- Scratches,
dents, and cosmetic damage not caused by Voltaride.
- Voltaride
will not be liable and/or responsible for any damage, failure or loss
caused by any unauthorized service or use of unauthorized parts.
- The
Battery is not warranted from damage resulting from power surges, use of
an improper charger, improper maintenance or other such misuse, normal
wear or water damage. Product that has the serial number or the bar code
removed, defaced, damaged, altered, or made illegible. Defects or damage
resulting from external causes such as collision, fire, flooding,
windstorm, lightning, earthquake, exposure to weather conditions, theft,
blown fuse.
- Labor
charges for part replacement or changeover.
- Frames
are covered by a replacement warranty for 3 years. This warranty
excludes labor charges to changeover parts. Voltaride reserves the
right to use scratch and dent stock when replacing a frame under this
warranty. Frame styles and/or colors not in stock may be replaced with a
compatible style and/or color at the discretion of Voltaride. The
following issues are excluded from this warranty (but not limited to):
Corrosion, Paint fade, scratches, impact marks, Impact damage,
Non-reversible modification (drilling/welding), Chain guard mount to the
frame if applicable
Determination of whether damage or defect to an
ebike covered component is protected by our limited warranty shall be in the
sole discretion of Voltaride.
Shipping Damage
Damage to a Covered Component during shipping
will only and without exceptions be covered by this Limited Warranty if you:
- Notify
us of a Covered Component damaged in the shipping process within three (3)
days of your receipt of the ebike;
- Provide
us with a dated and detailed picture of the damaged Covered Component;
Upon receipt of the ebike it is your
responsibility to immediately inspect the ebike and notify
Voltaride of any damage.
Credit Card Chargebacks
If any ebike purchase becomes subject to a
credit card chargeback in any amount, and you are still in possession of the
ebike, then this Limited Warranty shall be invalidated until the credit card
chargeback has been resolved.
Claims Process
No replacement of any covered component will be
done under this Limited Warranty until photos or videos of damaged covered
components are provided via email to Voltaride.
In order to initiate and exercise your right to
receive a replacement for a Covered Component under this Limited Warranty, you
must:
- Contact
Voltaride by email at [email protected] or by phone at 1-800-683-5409.
Our team will initially work with you on the problem with your ebike to
identify potential simple fixes.
- In
case our team determines that a Covered Component must be replaced, they
will provide you with a set of instructions for returning the defective
Covered Component and receiving the replacement.
- After
you receive the replacement Covered Component, the Technical Support team
will also assist in determining how to replace or install the new Covered
Component into your ebike.
- You
will be responsible for shipping costs associated with returning a Covered
Component, unless otherwise agreed in writing between Voltaride and buyer.
Replacement Covered Components under this Limited Warranty shall only be
shipped to the address of the original purchaser.
No cash reimbursement will be made.
When all the spare parts for warranty are sent
to the customer, the customer will be responsible for shipping costs
associated unless otherwise agreed in writing between Voltaride and buyer.
THE REMEDIES DESCRIBED ABOVE ARE YOUR SOLE AND
EXCLUSIVE REMEDIES AND VOLTARIDE’S ENTIRE LIABILITY FOR ANY BREACH OF THIS
LIMITED WARRANTY. VOLTARIDE’S LIABILITY SHALL UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES EXCEED THE
ACTUAL AMOUNT PAID BY YOU FOR THE EBIKE, NOR SHALL VOLTARIDE UNDER ANY
CIRCUMSTANCES BE LIABLE FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR PUNITIVE
DAMAGES OR LOSSES, WHETHER DIRECT OR INDIRECT.

RETURNS
As general policy, and in
order to qualify for returns, the product needs to be in original
condition, unused, unmodified, and unwashed. Packed in original and
undamaged box.
Return, restocking, and
handling fees are applicable on a case by case basis. Please email us at

If for whatever reason
you didn’t like what you received, for new, undamaged, and unmodified products,
Voltaride offers a 10-day refund policy. Our policy
lasts 10 days. If 10 days have gone by since your
purchase, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
Used and modified
products do not qualify for returns.

To start a return, you
can contact us at [email protected] and submit a claim here. If your
return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as
instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us
without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if
the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item so that we can
evaluate the issue and make it right.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you
know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically
refunded on your original payment method less any applicable fee. Please
remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process
and post the refund too.
If an exception is made
at the discretion of Hautland.com to refund an item after the 10 day
period, it is solely at the discretion of Voltaride to determine shipping costs
to be assumed by the customer, as well as additional restocking fees.
Replacements
If there is any issue
with your product, please contact our Tech Support at [email protected].
Our team will assist you in troubleshooting your product.
In the event a replacement
is necessary, we would process the replacement according to our warranty
policy. We will arrange for return shipping of the old part/item. Once the
part/item has been received and inspected, we will ship the replacement
part/item. If damage occurs due to improper handling during the setup or
installation whether done professionally or by the customer, then the product
is no longer eligible for replacement or refund.
Shipping
For Continental U.S. Orders:
We offer free shipping
for all our products with UPS Ground, Fedex Ground, USPS First Class or
Priority according to size, weight and delivery address. Before shipping, the
order processing time will take 48 hours. Shipping dates on backorder products
will vary and will be made available to the buyer as they become available to
us from third party manufacturers.
